"Where the Ocean Meets the Sky" by Nikki Smith.I love pairing my artwork with music, and this is no exception. The song lyrics that were playing in my head while I painted this surreal female portrait are:Oh the rythm of my heart
Is beating like a drum
With the words "I love you"
Rolling off my tongue.
Oh, never will I roam,
Now I know my place is home.
Where the ocean meets the sky,
I'll be sailin'This song is titled "Rythm of my Heart", written by Marc Jordan and John Joseph Capek. I first heard this performed by Rod Stewart. This painting is also inpired by true love, with one's soul mate as the guiding North star leading you home.Copyright Nikki Smith, 2020; All Rights Reserved.
